sick hen Help!

I have a sick hen about 9 months old. She has a wheeze and the runs. sometimes it like she has something in her throat. Not very active, I have her by herself for now. Any ideas how to get her better. I was away and someone took care of our chickens so I don't know how long she been sick. Been within last 4 days. Was ok on Thursday.

Hi there, sorry to here about your chicken.. Has she been wormed? Sometimes gapeworm can make them wheeze, they have there mouth half open as if theres something stuck. Gapeworm can also give them the runs...hope this helps a little.. Hopefully someone more experianced will see your post.x
