In the case of a yeast/fungal infection causing crop stasis, a follow-up (after the above treatment) would be an antifungal drug called Nystatin. It is a liquid that comes in fruit flavors, and is often given to toddlers with thrush. A vet or doc can give you this, and your pharmacy may also let you request it. (Of course, a vet diagnosis before treating is the best course.) Dosage of Nystatin for a 4+ pound standard size hen is 3 cc orally twice a day for 7-10 days. I gave in liquified food with good results.
