Sick hen please help I'm panicking

Guys I thought that my Cochin was going broody because shes been in the best box these past few days and. I just took her out and I noticed that her chest feathers are gone and mucus came out if her mouth. What do I do? We're going to have to isolate her. Please give me advice!:/

The first thing I would do is check her for mites, just to rule that out. Look down on her skin between the feathers especially around the tail, If there is any white build up then mites are there, Then I would put Apple Cider Vinegar in her water, about a tablespoon per gallon. Make sure she has plenty to eat, Sometimes broodies will pull out there feathers but there is not normally mucus.

Was what came out of her mouth clear-colored & quite watery, with only a little mucousness? If so, it might be she'd taken a big drink pretty recently & it just came back up. I've run into that situation a number of times.

I don't think that it was water because I had just taken her out of the best box. I'm almost positive that I saw some liquid come out of her mouth. Maybe she's egg bound. She hasn't laid in weeks

No sign of mites. Her feathers weren't all gone. They were just parted from her being in the nest box for so long
