Hi All,
Just wanted to post an update. Janice made a full recovery!! After lots of suggestions, research etc. we concluded that she was dehydrated. We kept her inside (at times on the couch in a towel!) for about three days and fed her water (she didn't eat) which she would drink with help. Meanwhile Ginger (Mrs. Broody) we moved off her eggs and into a caged area. We thought she might have become broody because of Janice being gone--we weren't sure. So at night when it cooled down we put Janice in the cage with her. In the AM we'd take Janice inside because she still seemed off. After a day or two when they both seemed a bit normal we put them back on their regular routine and surprisingly they are both totally fine now. We're shocked and happy and they have plenty of water with electrolytes and vitamins.
