Thanks for the reply kathy. Are there any homemade remidies or cures that i could feed my hen?

Do you think she has parasites ?

If she were mine she would get treated for blackhead with proper medications, period. If she didn't improve in three days she would get Baytril or Clavamox. She would also get weighed daily and if she lost one gram and/or wasn't drinking/eating she would get tube fed.

okay i will try get hold of some medication.And i checked her vent there was no trace of a membrane just the egg yolk and white . Sje started laying last week , maybe this is normal. But im more concerned about her being quiet and being less active as to before.
