Can you stick your finger in and check for an obstruction of some type, Like an egg or more poop?

she hasn’t layed for months so not thinking egg but i can check for more poop

should i give her some aspirin? her vent seems very swollen and her crying out in pain is concerning to say the least

I would not give her any aspirin. Do you know how to tube feed? If she were mine I would tube some warm fluids now, wait 60-90 minutes, and tube fluids again.

What is her diet is she eating or surrounded by toxic stuff. Are other hens around her the same. Runny poo is just her body detoxing keep her hydrated. Something in her diet or environment may need a change tho.

she’s still here this morning - I brought in our other hen to be with her during the night (I only have 2) and she seems relatively the same. same white mucous discharge but her vent isn’t blocked. Still crying out in pain whenever she pushes. If you put food straight in front of her face she will peck at it a bit and she’s been talking to her sister but she seems quite uncomfortable still. What can I do? I’m thinking possibly gleet vent -does that sound right?
