Sick Hen

I have a hen who is lethargic, has yellowish poo, and when I probed her vent, saw a bit of blood on my glove. She is NOT egg bound. I felt no egg when examining her. Any ideas what this might be? I know that's not much to go on, but . . . Any insight and input would be appreciated.

If there’s blood it could be coccidiosis, do any of the other birds have blood?

No, not that I've noticed. I've treated her for ecoli . . .yogurt, vit. E, probiotic, with egg yolk for protein. I also isolated her from the flock for a day. I don't think she ate much of it if any, though. She seems to be doing a "little" better but still not herself. If it is coccidiosis, how would I treat her?

With medicated chick feed or Corid. You can get Corid at most farm supply stores such as Tractor Supply
