Today I went out to feed my chickens and I noticed a lethargic hen, her lower abdomen is huge but I don’t feel an egg it just feels swollen or filled with something. I was also able to get a pic of her fresh poo and it looks like yolk in her droppings? I’m definitely concerned but i don’t know what to give her and I don’t have vet money. Any help is appreciated!! How old is she ? Sounds like maybe internal laying possibly salpingitis - an antibiotic may help her at least for a while . But my experience is with Ducks not chickens I’ve had a couple of Ducks with salpingitis and I gave amoxicillin. They got better for about six months and then sick again so I gave amoxicillin again. They got better for a couple months and then they passed away.
What do you feed them and do you give a calcium supplement?

To me that looks like a shellless egg.

What breed and how old is she?

This won't hurt, and just might help if she's got a reproductive issue going on and an egg stuck inside. Give her approx 300 -400mg of a human Calcium Citrate +D3, whole. If you don't have any, Walmart or any drugstore has it. You can give her one a day for a few days, for up to a week. Just open her beak and pop it in. That will cause contractions and help her expel something if that's the issue.

Has she pooped since then?
