Sick Hen

My Buff Orpington hen has been acting sick. She is still eating but not with the usually vigor and her poop looks fine, she seems to be moving a little slower and stands in the corner with her tail down. She just turn 1 year old. Anyone know what I should do for her or what it might be? It started about two days ago.

I just checked her vent and it looks kind of opened and pink. Is that normal?

With the tail down, I'd say egg bound. Rub her bum in warm water and put some oil up her vent (ASAP).

I just soaked her butt in water for about 10-15 minutes and dropped some oil on her vent. I towel dried her and let her back out. Will she be ok outside being wet with the temperature in the high 50's? Does it take a while for the egg to come out? Thanks for the help!

Change the title of this to POSSIBLE EGG BOUND!! I bet you'll get some help then. Usually adding what 'might' be wrong in the title gets you attention.
