I have had 3 hens die in the past 4 weeks. They all acted the same. They would just stand in the corner by them selfs. Eat and drink just a little bit. Or they would just lay down. I am a first time chicken owner. Not to sure what to do. We were told to give them shots of b12. And om3 pills. So we did that. We r deworming them now. We are also giving them electrolytes. Not sure what is going on?

How old are they and what breed ? Do they stand looking miserable ? Do they have a funny smell about them ? Or goopy noses?

Age, how long you've had them, what they are eating and any other symptoms are important. Otherwise the first thing that comes to mind with those symptoms and multiple quick deaths is coccidiosis if these birds are new to your property or if they are young birds that have just started going outside.

They are about 15 months old. We have had them since they were 11, 12 months old. I gave them that round of stuff and they are all doing good now. One has the sneezes, and a little cough. She ha sent started laying yet. She is the youngest one we have. I have antibiotics but I really don't want to use them unless I have to. Everyone says it's not good. We just got 16 3 day old chicks. They are in the house now of course.

is her nose all gooey? if so then she will need the antibiotics or it will kill her. you need to separate her from the flock as it speads fast. she will need high energy food and lots of it. if she is having probelsm seeing then she will need eye drops/ ointment as it can leave them blind
