Ok she is drinking!! I can see her neck muscles working when she swallows by herself, she's tail wagging and feather fluffing. I reached out to a semi-local vet and inquired about avian services and an animal wildlife rehabilitator and am going to keep an eye on her poop.
Question: has anyone ever experienced a duck under severe stress? My flock is going through a pretty tumultuous time...I have three different age groups / flocks that I am raising now and will be integrating slowly. Four ducklings that are 2 weeks old, and six ducks and two geese that are about 5 weeks now, on top of my mature flock of 14. All kept seperate but they can see one another through hardware metal fencing at night until the lights go out (string lights for some night-light, seems to comfort them). I've adapted their usual spacious coop to make sections for each age group and am trying my best to keep it as stress free as possible, but I know it's not perfect. During the day I keep everyone much farther apart and spread out over outdoor fenced areas.
Originally I was supposed to have two flocks, the youngest ones are the replacements for some loss I had earlier on from my young flock.
Could the green poop and the inability to eat be a result of stress?? None of my other ducks are experiencing these symptoms and seem to be fine and healthy.
