Sick KC Duck

Hello,

I have 16 ducks and my one little girl seems off, the passed day she has been laying down all day long and going into the coop by her self. She has always been the smallest out of all my ducks her name is tiny. I just can’t figure out what is wrong with her. Again this morning I let all 16 ducks out and she ran out of the coop to and they all jumped in the pool but her she just laid down. Should I bring her inside my house to a cool area. I’m not sure if it’s the heat getting to her as we have a server heat warning this weekend of +37 not sure if she got to much sun there is plenty of shade water and feed.

Is she laying or just coming into laying? I'd catch her and check her out good feel her tummy does it feel swollen, soft, hard etc? If you can put her into another coop with a buddy or in the house so you can monitor her like is she eating does she seem chilled is she acting like she it trying to lay an egg.

She is 11.5 weeks old so I don’t think she would be starting to lay yet. He chest seems a little bubbled out

Can you post some pics of what your seeing? Is she eating drinking ?

Do they have access to land to forage? Pond ? Could she have eaten something toxic. Or metal?

No she would never get to any metal or toxic stuff and no pond just a kiddie pool.
