Have you seen her eating? When do you notice her chest bigger ? Is it the same size when you let them out in the morning? How is she doing today ?

She is still the same today, she is eating and drinking and yes her chest is the same size all day but sticks out way more then usual

Do you put feed out over night too? if you do don't tonight so you can see if it makes a difference in her chest size in the morning then post. Usually if they have am clog of some kind or aren't emptying right the chest will not go down over night.

I will say one of my Buffs gets a huge chest at times and the first few times I noticed it I was concerned but I observed her over night [no feeding here over night] and it would be normal in the morning. Feel her chest too is it squishy or hard.

As for laying around it could be the heat. Can you get poultry vitamins and electrolytes Try adding some to their water buckets this can help in very hot temps.

She passed away my husband went out to lock them all up and she was in the coop. I’m so sad she was the runt of all my ducks and I thought she beat the odds and wasn’t going to die I just hope she wasn’t suffering. Also hoping none of my other ducks die

I am so sorry, they can hide things like this for so long most of the time it's too late once we see symptoms. Most likely it was something just with her since she was so much smaller than the rest. I had one almost positive it was her heart she was always slower than the rest and just didn't grow as fast.
Just keep an eye on the rest.
