My leghorn is 3 years old. 6 days ago I noticed she was laying in th run. I brought her inside and noticed that she was dragging her right leg behind her and she appeared unbalanced. I have had her inside and have been trying to nurse her by giving calcium and electrolytes. She had been eating scrambled eggs but as of today she seems to have stopped eating. Sometimes she stands with both legs under her but other times she layes with one leg behind her. I have read about Marecks and am concerned about the rest of my flock although they seem fine. Can anyone recommend anything more I can do for this chicken? Please email me Thank you

Have you added any new birds from outside the flock in recent months? Is there any green bruising or swelling along the leg or foot?
Can you get a video of her walking and uploaded to YouTube or a similar site with a link posted here? Mareks could be a possibility, but she might have injured her leg and has some nerve damage. I would limit her activity inside a wire dog crate with food and water near her.
