I am new to meat birds and I have Cornish cross meat birds. They are a little over 6 weeks and going to butcher in 1 week. They eat 20% feed and I do not allow them to free feed at night. This week one of them has started to not eat and set off to himself. His comb is very red but now starting to look a little purple. They go to butcher in a week. I don’t know if he will make it or not but is it safe to still butcher if he’s sick? I just didn’t know if I should just call him a loss or not?

I would butcher now, it's probably getting heart issues. Purple is lack of blood flow or O2
