Sick New Rooster - Advice would be appreciated.

I thought I would post this here since all of your tried to help with my sick rooster. Well, yesterday another chicken appeared in the yard! Again, no clue where she came from but she is a sweetheart and seems very healthy. I will post pictures and info on her in an appropriate folder.

Best advice I can give you is to take a poo sample in to your vet so you can make sure there is no cocci or worms...both of which can leave a birds intestines damaged and therefore their immune system permanently compromised and cause a great deal of problems. the wormers what they sell at the feed stores "approved"for chickens will often only treat one type of worm so you really need to have this looked at. Get a good supplement ...a general one especially made for poultry. Good luck!!!
