Please understand that I don’t think you are careless. I wish I could pay your vet bills if needed. I love all animals, and I wish everyone could afford reasonable vet care. You’re in my thoughts.

I think it is a very decent thing you did, apologizing. Vets may be an option for some but I bet if you pooled the knowledge of Jpat, Miss Lydia, Catspony, and a half dozen others on here they could do better treating a duck that 85% of the vets out there. Most vets see our ducks as a blurry line between pets and livestock. The greedy vets see the pets and see $$$$ signs. The ones that consider ducks as livestock know that there is a limit as to how much, no matter how well off, anyone will spend. I think the best way is to treat these situations is to home treat but be in contact with a trusted vet. The vet we take our dogs to now has a duck understanding. We can call in symptoms and she will prescribe and advise as needed.once again I applaud your apology .

I whent out to let the duckies out and i topped up the feed bowl and nibbler ran over and is currently stuffing himself like a cheap turkey!

Oh my god he ate a ton then mated his girlfriend the Kahki cambpell. First time hes ever done that! And 5 huuggee victory laps later hes doing great

I hope appleyard and kahki mixes are cute!
