Sick of my questions? hope not.. duck eggs to use or not to use oyster shell?

I been doing some serious reading on duck eggs lately as our have been laying :) we are curious if we should be using oyster shells or not. We have been but i have seen people saying there eggs get way to strong and the babies wont get out :(.
Just curious to know what you guys do.

Offer it freely in a separate dish - they can supplement themselves if they want it. Don't mix it in with the feed. I've had some get thin shells even on layer feed. Some greens they might forage on can bind with calcium, perhaps that's why. I like to give them the option.
