Sick or hurt hen not quite sure

I have a Rhode Island Red hen that is either lame or sick, I can't quite tell. Every time she stands she seems to lose her balance and fall backwards. I think it's her leg, but am looking for other possible explanations. I have separated her, and sprinkled a low dose aspirin (81mg) over her food. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
