Uh oh. Out of 6 pullets I've lost 3 so far to various sickness, and now I'm worried about #4. She's a new member of a small flock thats supposed to be 4 strong, but now down to 3. She's a bit younger, a very friendly buff orpington. Today she seems "sleepy" and is flopping in the sun, but something doesn't seem right, her eyes keep closing like she's tired and wants to sleep, and the comb color isn't so deep. Lost a 6-month old 4 weeks ago to some disease, we have recently treated with sulmet and tetracyclene so this new condition is bothering me. Two days ago lost a 4-month old red sex-link and and her problems began with her looking tired too, then too late when I noticed noticed she was malnourished also. The BO does seem to have a decent crop today, so she's under close watch. Anybody have a clue whats going on?

Not sure what it might be, but I would add some Apple Cider Vinegar to their waterer and start letting them have some yogurt. Maybe they meds that you have given them have washed out even the good bacteria...it happens. Go for plain vanilla yogurt. Add some oatmeal if they dont seem too excited about it at 1st. You may have to dip thier beaks in it to get them started.

Good luck!

Could be cocci, try ACV immediately!
Did the other ones that died have anything that exit their beak before they died? If so, its probably cocci
