Yea guys I do have more critters....chickens and ducks (some muscovy and then others)
I have already buried the peacock...
I have not gotten any new critters, as the peafowl were the last added around Thanksgiving
already having 1 IB peacock for a year, bought 4 and put in a new pen, then another 7 and
put those in old larger pen with young guineas
and hate telling this but my lose rate in peafowl is so high because the door on a new pen
holding 4 of the peafowl came ajar during rain and high winds and 3 of the birds were loss
when 3 of them flew off?..storming at night then guess at dawn they took flight?
a major kick in my rear side and now there is no way those doors will open without 2 hands
and being able to undo several locks on each pen...
a peafowl owner in my area suggested 'ivomec plus' 1cc per gallon of water...going on symptoms alone
as mentioned before, I have wormed everyone this month
can I treat everyone for 'blackhead' even tho I don't know for sure that is the problem?
I will admit that I was not educated enough on peafowl and I am now kicking myself
over and over and hate that my stupidity and mistakes have cost them their lives...
