a bird like this .... move slowly (unbalance) + poop yellow / white liquid = BLACKHEAD !
Sorry for your loss. Do you live in the US? If so, buy a bottle of Fish Zole (250mg metronidazole), a bottle of liquid Baytril (enrofloxacin) and a bottle of Safeguard for Goats (fenbendazole). Deworm all with the Safeguard at 0.23 ml per pound orally for 5 days. If more start to look sick, give one Fish Zole tablet orally once a day for five days and give Baytril 0.045 ml per pound orally twice a day for no more than 5 days. Also might be a good idea to get a tube and syringe to tube feed with.sorry i havent been home.poor guy died the next night.called about 6 vets (for matrondale) around my area.none were opened.it sucks cause he was the most popular guy on the ranch.thanks to all for helping i really appreciate.take care and god bless![]()
Sorry about your loss.
I'm sure our pea health experts will advise you on this, but any other peas you have will need medication right away too.
Even if they look healthy - they often don't look sick until it is too late.
