Sick peahen won't eat or drink and is very lethargic...

I would get a fecal exam done on that poo right away. Call around and see who will take a look at it this evening, and take a fresh sample.
OMG! A huge times two on that! If one of mine pooped like that it would get started on a whole bunch of drugs!

Make sure they check it for Black Head (histomoniasis) and Coccidia. They don't always know to check for Histo, I had to request they check for it.

Do you really suspect Black Head? Even if my bird is kept inside 90% of the time (and by inside I mean in the house) and she's not around any other animals, let alone other birds...
The only thing she's eaten in the past three days is a few peas and carrots and wax worms, plus lactated ringers, Ivomec injection, and SBT medication...

All things considered it certainly doesn't seem like the most likely answer, but those poops are very suspect looking. Perhaps the diet is affecting them, and most of us are not used to seeing poo from a bird that is eating peas and carrots, since ours eat mostly feed, but Black head will take a Peacock down fast and if there is any chance I would want to rule it out. It is usually contracted thru contact with the soil and worms in the soil that can harbor it. I am not trying to panic you, just make sure they check for it.

Lack of food and stress on the liver certainly could cause poop to look like that, maybe even E. Coli. Risk of blackhead would be very low if the dirt she has walked on has never had chickens, but if you also have chickens, or if there used to be chickens there, it sure could be blackhead.

How is she today?

She is doing so much better! She's eating and drinking on her own and gets excited about her treats again. Her poop is back to a normal, more solid state. Her avid curiosity is back and energy is almost fully restored. I really appreciate everyone's help and concern

She was back to her normal self over the weekend....eating, drinking, jumping, playing, even took a dirt bath in my organic gardening soil.
Monday rolls around and she's acting weird again....weak, lethargic, won't eat or drink. So I force feed her some PB spiked with calcium and then later on that evening she's perked up again.
She played outside pecking everything in her path. This morning she was eating and drinking like normal but she's still having diarrhea...that white, watery mucus, but this time it has a yellow hue to it. I'm still taking her to the vet tonight but how am I supposed to get a fecal sample if it's all wet and runny like it is? I mean, I'm sure she'll poop while we're there but what if she doesn't and the vet wants to run some tests?
