I have a 2 1/2 year old female with 33 chickens and 2 male peafowl and another peahen. She was lethargic and very easy to pick up. I brought her to the vet vet. They Hydrated her, x-rayed her, did a fecal and blood work. nothing stood out. I have had her in a small cage in my garage for about a week and a half. She eats and drinks, poop is fine. I tried to put her back outside and she just sat in the middle of the run and one of the males was brutal. Again I picked her up no problem. Any ideas what to do or why?

How much does she weigh? Her weight should be listed on the paperwork from the vet.
So I'm not sure of her weight, I still have her. The vet could not find anything wrong with her, but there is no vet in my area trained to deal with Peafowl. They did X-rays, hydration, worm test, and blood work. Nothing showed up. I kept her separate inside during the winter, then moved her in a different pen with the broody old hen that hatched her in the spring, turns out she's blind. I think she's what you call a cameo, and they are prone to blindness from what I have looked up. She's still with me. I keep the food and water in the same place and company that is not aggressive. Not sure what happened, if she flew into wire in the new improved coop or because she is a cameo. But I raised her and will keep her.
