And she's still growing.I'm starting to think she's a Great Dane in cognito. I tried pulling her up into my lap on my small recliner and didn't have anymore space to do so. She's as long as I am tall now. The good thing about boxers is their ability to fold up to a smaller size for easier storage.

Measurements mean nothing to my brain, especially inches, but I was thinking the other day how your Trixie has always given me the impression Boxers are pretty big dogs... then I was working with a VERY small boxer at work the other week24 inches. Doesn't seem so impressive when I measure her. She is definitely my bigger boxer out of the 4 total I have had. I got the runt with the hope she would be smaller, but the mother was a big boxer, so I'm not surprised.
She was laying on the floor spread out. I measured nose to tail and it was 38 inches. When she curls up she's under 2 feet. It's a crazy optical illusion.oh dude she is! and she is only nine months, thats crazy
Now I know she's tall.and crazy, i just realized that's just about as tall as chase is! he is 25 at the shoulder
I'm used to the smaller ones. My first two were around 60 pounds. Rosie was my biggest at 70 pounds. Trixie has her beat. Seems the breed is getting slowly bigger. We had one of those "mini" Boxers. Her mother was even smaller - about the size of a large Boston Terrier. Her previous owners (backyard breeders) were trying to breed small Boxers. Here she is with a ~65-70lb. male. The poor thing came to us infested with hookworms and was only 40-some pounds at the time.

I originally wanted a Doberman, but they were too big for what I was wanting, so I went with boxers instead and never looked back, well occasionally looked back. Still love a good black and tan dog.DOBIE!!!!!!! I love how you bring dobies in![]()
