sick peahen

I have a peahen that has started breathing with her mouth open. They have been running lose but noticed it two days ago. Put them up and wormed yesterday. Can anyone help, don't want to lose her.

I have no idea what it could be but I'm sure somebody will. I hope she is okay and it's not anything serious

If it's hot, it could be the heat of running around outside. If it's NOT hot, it could be a respiratory infection of some kind, usually treated with Tylan 200.

If there is no swelling around the eyes or head then it probably don't have a respiratory problem, So I would say you need to worm them with Safe Guard or Ivomec.
