Seems that my female hungarian house pigeon is a bit under the weather today. her appetite seems good. She's got acess to grit, and oyster shell. Yet she seems to have lost a bit of weight, and has some trouble getting ip. And also has some trouble getting up onto her roost. I am going to isolate her, and give her some tums. She hasn't laid any eggs yet, and doesn't seem to be egg bound. No respiratory infections, ruffled feathers, bumble foot, or any other signs of infections. would it be wise to give her a bit of baytril or terramyacin if she doesn't improve? I did notice a bit of 'water' around her vent area.
Any suggestions on how to make her feel better would be apprecaited.
The only other thing i can figure is that the male she is with may be pushing her away from her food a bit. Cause he loves to waste it.
