So I recently purchased two marriam's turkey poults. They looked a little lathargic when we were on our way home with them but we thought maybe they were "hiding" due to the stress of being moved. Within an hour of getting them into the brooder box we could tell something was wrong. They began breathing heavily with their mouths open and we actually cleaned some dried mucus away from their nostrils. They were not chilled at any point during the trip and I believe they were sick when I got them, which is just my luck that they start showing it after I get them home. They are lethargic, breathing heavily with their mouths agape and not eating or drinking. I immediately started damage control and mixed some chick saver electrolytes and I have durvet on hand that I also mixed up and gave some to each poult by basically forcing its mouth open and giving it a few drops at a time and letting it swallow. Marriam's aren't the easiest to find and I really don't want to lose these. I would have bought more poults but they already had sold them. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise. Any idea what this could be? Or how to treat it? They are being kept seperate from our other turkeys.

Bump. Surely someone has some idea. Looks as if they are getting worse and I'm staying up forcing water into them.
