Sick Poult

Well today I had to dispatch a week an a half old Poult. This is my 4th flock I have raised and I have never lost one bird up until today. Symptoms were inflamed vent oozing 7 dripping and the other poults were pecking at it. The poult's wings where droopy and had a hard time standing. All the others was pecking at it really bad. I looked at every option to try to save it but in the end I put it out of it's misery. Has anybody else had a similar issue like this. I sure hated doing the deed but I knew it was the right thing for the Poult.

If its poop was yellow and foamy then probably blackhead. Feed the sick cayenne pepper, it worked wonders for my poults.
