Sick pullet

i have a Silkie who started laying 4-6 eggs a week back in June. She is free range and has not laid in several days and won't willingly leave her coop. I'm a new chicken owner, not sure what's going on.

Is she staying in a nest box and refusing to leave ? If so she is probably broody.

Yes! She only leaves to eat. Should I do anything special or just leave her alone. Again thank you, I am so new with this. Will she lay again? What should I expect?

Silkies generally have a strong maternal instinct so you can count on the fact that she will frequently try to start a family. Excessive broodiness can debilitate a hen. You may want to consider 'breaking' her broodiness. Do an on site search on 'breaking broodiness'.
