Sick pullet

I recently lost one of my pullets. Nothing seemed wrong with her, she just died. I bought some new pullets and one of them was acting very standoffish so I was afraid she might be sick. My husband put her in isolation, but when he did, he noticed that she was blind in one eye. Would that make her separate from the rest of the chickens? I noticed the other day when I was giving them some worms, that was having a hard time getting any of the worms. Now I realized that she couldn't see them.

Sorry for your loss. Is the one that died, the new addition who had trouble seeing, or was it another hen? Can you get a picture of her eyes? Is the eye color and shape of the pupil the same as the other? If you still have the body of the one that died, you can take it in for a necropsy to your state vet lab.
