I have one hen that is not very energetic, feathers are sticking up, has a hard time keeping eyes open, I picked it up and it does not resist at all. Is it coccidiosis? I separated it but still don’t know if I should get some Corid and don’t know how much to give them only experience is with chickens and that was when I was a kid. Can I give to all birds or only sick ones and how much do I mix per gallon. And I do clean there cage once a week straining out poop from sande. Has she laid any eggs recently? Is she eating?

I would try putting her in a hospital pen and keeping her warm and see if she eats/drinks. If she hasn't laid in the last day or two, gently feel around her vent to see if she's egg bound.

Don’t know most of my birds are laying randomly I’ll check tomorrow since it’s too dark to see tonight. She is drinking haven’t seen her eat anything and barely wants to move.

what am I feeling for only had quail for month or so what do I do if she is bound?

Feel for an egg that may be positioned oddly. Separating her out will also let you see if she's pooping. If not, that's another sign that she's egg bound. I keep going to that because she looks just like one of my birds did last night, and she turned out to be egg bound.

I gave my hen a warm bath and massaged her vent. She pooped, then laid her egg.

she did poop during the night a few times its very watery diarrhea. afraid that it might be ulcerative enteritis (quail disease) or Coccidiosis do I buy corid and give it to all the birds and hope that its coccidiosis?

don't want to pay doctors bill for a hen that I can just kill and hope the rest don't get it. but I don't know if you can give corid to health birds or to just sick ones.
