Uh huh, the typical 'layman's term' for Avian pathogenic flagellated enteric protozoa.Her poop wasn’t runny or yellow. It looked possibly bloody or slightly darker. I’m giving them all 0.4ml metronidazole twice a day.
The vet said it was a flagellate parasite but she didn’t name it.
That's a large but finite group of pathogenic protozoa.
I'm assuming they took samples and investigated under a microscope?...I say that because metronidazole is a 'full spectrum' antibiotic. It's used alot for treatment of anaerobic pathogens....even in humans.
