Sick Rabbit?

My daughter wants a Polish bunny. I'd love another New Zealand. I love the BIG bunnies. But like I said, no more till I become more knowledgeable with them. I definitely have better luck with chickens...30 and all strong and healthy.

So sorry you lost your bun! As for what may have caused it, the target practice might have stressed her out. Rabbits can have heart attacks. Was it really hot? They also get heatstroke very easily.

Another thing, alfalfa hay is actually not good for adult rabbits (but okay for pregnant does or babies). Timothy or another grass hay is better. There are quite a few rabbit breeders on here so hopefully you'll be able to learn more so you can get another bun soon.
