Sick Roo

Hello, I have a 8 month old sick roo that is recuperating from crop surgery x4.... it's been a rough road for him. But he's on a good road to recovery. My question is, while he's recovering what would be the best SOFT foods to feed him while he recovers? He lost a significant amount of weight while being sick, and now we need to bulk him up. He's literally bones. He's eating and drinking normally. I just feel like feed is not the way to go right now for he needs to be babied.

Get a non layer chicken feed and make a mash (add warm water) out of it.
