sick roo

we have a sick serama roo that im not sure what to do.
he was fine this morning but now is droppy and has a black crest.
any ideas on what to do for this poor guy?
ill keep him confinded in the house/i have childrens vits i can give him also.

thank you but he is gone.
Once we noticed him w/in 30 min he was gone.
he was fine this morning.

Oh, I'm so sorry. I wanted to get a look at the comb because I thought he might be having respiratory and /or heart failure. I just lost a roo a week ago Tuesday to something like that. I'm still depressed about it. Somehow your roos oxygen level must have been compromised. It's a tough call because by the time you see the symptoms, they are already very ill. I also think the roos try extra hard to hide their illnesses. I'm so sorry we were not much help. Even if you hit hard with the antibiotics right off the bat it probably wouldn't have made any difference, same as mine.

Now we're both out of a roo.
