Sick rooster

My rooster was sick for about 2 weeks with an infection and also had a very yellow colour. He eventually got better and drank water on his own for the first time in 2 weeks. He drank quite a lot of water this morning and this afternoon he started making long 'moaning'' sounds. He looked around very anxiously and was restless and then he started jumping around and flying and bumping into everything. He calmed down but now gets an 'attack' about every ten minutes. Now and then food particles and fluid comes out of his mouth. Can drinking too much water cause this or is something else wrong?

Thank you, but unfortunately my beloved Tienkie passed away last night. It seems as if he had seizures due to liver disease in a very progressive stage. He is in a better place now.
