Sick rooster?

I believe my rooster is sick. He’s standing completely still with his tail down. Not making a sound. He was completely fine yesterday, his comb isn’t pale, I don’t understand what could be wrong with him. He keeps moving his mouth, and made an almost inaudible noise. (Sounds similar to the noise hens make when they are mad)

You need to give him a good going over. Look for any wounds or injuries, look everywhere.
Check his crop, is it full, empty, hard, soft, squishy, etc.? Isolate him so you can get a look at droppings to see if they are normal or not. Look inside his beak and throat to see if it looks normal. Check for wheezing, coughing, sneezing, any discharge from nares, eyes or beak. See if he will eat or drink.
