My 😥rooster has raspy sounding lungs, he can’t open his eyes, he’s sneezing, has nasal discharge, and smells of infection.

I had one hen die but she was actually gasping for air and she died a few hours after I noticed it.

Just want to know what it might be.

Have you added any new chickens recently? Pictures of him and his face and eyes would be helpful. It sounds like you are dealing with a contagious respiratory disease, such as MG or coryza. Coryza usually smells bad. Clean his eyes and nostrils, and try some Terramycin or plain antibiotic ointment into the eyes twice a day. If the eyelids are swollen, there may be pus in the sinus that needs to be pressed out.

Yes I recently had added 3 more, I wiped his eyes and
tried and the ointment, he got his eyes open and was eating and doing much better, but his lungs sounded awful. He fought for a while but this morning I had found that he had sadly passed away. Fortunately is see no signs of my other chickens getting it but would like to prevent that. Is there something I could maybe put in their water to help?
