We have a couple of silki hens that are very thin and a bit listless the only other thing they have in common is the top of their heads always seem dirty or even wet. Any thoughts?

That does sound strange. Do they have mites? Some crested birds can develop mite problems and it can cause them to lose weight.

They could also have a worm problem. You could try treating them for parasites. If they still don't get better, they could have a bacterial or viral infection.

Are there any other symptoms? Are they kept in a damp enclosure or is their pen muddy?

I hope they get better. Best of luck!

If they have big crests, they may dip in the water when they drink- which would cause them to be wet and attract dirt. It is very likely they have mites - if it has been going on for some time - they get debilitated from blood loss. You may want to carefully cut back their crests (the feathers will grow back) so you can better access and treat them.

They may also have internal parasites but, it is best to know what kind(if any) and treat them with the proper medication. If they are very thin, this has been going on for quite awhile.
