My husband is the main "handler" of our chickens. I just feed/water/ collect eggs and talk to the birds. He is the picker upper, b/c I am too chicken of getting my glasses broken by a flogger.
We have one silkie, approximately 28 weeks old. We noticed a week or two ago, that she was acting silly, tucking her head way in, and like shaking her head around. She ate and drank fine, I thought she may have started to lay, b/c we are getting smaller, kinda creamy/pinky eggs, and all the others are leghorn/rir or combos of the two.
Today, I went to collect eggs and visit them, and when I scattered the food, she just lay there like pecking herself, with her head tucked waaay into herself.. She won't eat. I took a video, and I will try to upload it.
