Sick silkie

I looked it up online at TSC and on Amazon prime.. I didn’t see anything for that. Will she even survive that long if I order it from this website? I’m assuming Corid won’t do the trick?
What I would do in your shoes is to start the flock on Corid right away. Order the sulfa/coccidiostat and when it comes, then switch the hen to it.

When you see blood, that is a signal that inflammation of the intestines is going on. It's called necrotic enteritis and it's life threatening. Treat only this hen and any others with blood in the stool with this sulfa drug. All others treat with Corid alone.

Did you treat a second time with Corid? To be effective, two rounds of Corid a week apart must be given to get the oocytes (eggs).

I tried to explain to you that sometimes inflammation of the intestines can happen with coccidiosis. Enteritis can be life threatening as it causes the intestinal lining to die. It must be treated with sulfa.

Do you understand now?
