sick silkie ?

How are the chicks doing ?
everyone is better , havent lost anymore. treating them with Terramycin and back on medicated feed also took out the shavings and useing newspaper instead. I was afraid so of the shavings were getting kicked into the water and they were swallowing it and possibly getting in theyre throats too. thanks for asking

Glad to hear it but cover the newspaper with paper towels.

Ink isn't good but no mostly because it doesn't give them enough traction and they will have leg problems.
wow really , well thank you for the tip :) never would have thought of that. I was useing some rubber shelf liner on top of the paper but was a chore changing and washing then twice a day, I just starting using the plain newspaper. Thanks Muzzie

Your welcome how many chicks do you have ?

I just put the 1 month olds out in the nursery yesterday and they are so happy out there scratching about. And you can sure tell which are possible Roos.

Here is a picture of some of the 1 month olds. One of my coockoo roos with red combs got in with my good hen on this clutch darn it .
Still so darn cute but just pet quality on some now.
