About two weeks ago I posted on this board regarding a 3 to 4 year old bourbon red turkey that was off of feed and lethargic after recently losing his mate. We immediately replaced his mate with a young hen (as suggested here) As soon as we put her in the pen with him he began chirping at her. Though we are still having issues with his health.

We have been feeding him wetted food. When he doesn’t eat I put it in a large syringe and some white force feed him. He seems like he is acting a little healthier and is a little more feisty, but he will not stand. He seems like one of his legs is not working properly. I’m not sure if he still just too weak from having been off feed or if something is actually wrong with him.

How much food should I be forcing him to eat each day?

Is there anything specific someone thinks might be wrong with his leg? I’m not aware of any injuries to it. When I lift up his body one leg he seems to try to use the other one kind of just hangs there.
