Sick Turkey PLEASE HELP !!!

Their is something wrong with my young turkey he is 2 months old. He has a runny nose having trouble breathing and lethargic. I dont know what to do!! Please help

I dont think our vets will treat him but im going to call first thing in the morning if he makes it through the night. He just wants to cuddle with me in my arms, We don t have any antibiotics here for poultry

I have given him some water with electrolytes in it and he will still drink a little

He really needs to see a vet. Not much you can do without antibiotics.

So sorry for your loss, I learned the hard way to keep a emergency supply too, as not much open after dark around here let alone anything that would have supplies. I keep liquamaycin in mine as it's broad spectrum

Thank you for the help. I will get some to keep here in case we need it in the future we are the same way it 26 miles to the closet town of 2,000 so not a lot of options there during the day. Should I give the other turkies some antibiotic to be safe?

I don't know on that one as we don't know what we are dealing with, if you double bag him and put in fridge, you can contact the state vet to do a necropsy and they will tell you what got him and you will know if you need to medicate and will be better off knowing what to treat with
