Sick young Brahma

I have neosporin but nothing else really for chickens. This is the first injury I've had to deal with. She is in a box right now with a plate of food and some water. Also, something seems out of place when she is sitting. I'll post a pic. The pinkish area of skin in the pic is the good leg side. The other side seems to droop down some.

She was separated in the coop with only one other chick her size. The only thing I should probably mention was there was a squirrel in the coop when I got home. (Even though we keep adding more wiring they always seem to find their way In) the squirrel was not in their section of the coop though. It was with the older chickens. I don't know if it had been with the younger ones at all though. Could it be possible a squirrel injured her?

Doubt it squirrels are not predators and that isn’t squirrel making also they are not strong enough to dislocate a leg. Something bigger did it. Do you have a rooster?

I don't see any obvious bites, but her feathers mostly seemed stripped. There are some bits of blood where they pulled from the skin. I don't have any roosters. I only have 2 other hens. One is a Buff Orpington that is broody right now and I have a mean RIR, but there is no way they could have gotten into the section the Brahmas are in. It is blocked by fencing and wood. However, I guess it is possible the Brahma could have gotten into their area if it squeezed through somehow. When I found her she wasn't in the older hens area though.

Whatever did this is a mammal. What kind of wire do you use on your coop. Chicken wire or hardware cloth?

What I’m thinking is a raccoon tried to pull her through the fence

The coop is wrapped in both chicken wire and hardware cloth. The coop is pretty solid except for squirrels finding there way in somehow. The coop is up against a brick wall that they somehow squeeze between to get in through the back where it is lined with just the chicken wire. The main predators in my area are raccoons and opossums. This would have been in daylight because the chick was fine this morning.

Possible you might have to reset the leg

You have me wondering about a racoon now. About a year ago we had a chick ripped through the wire. (This was before we added more wire). Tomorrow I'll have to look around to make sure the wire is all still secure. I have no idea how to reset a leg. I'm hoping my brother's girlfriend may be able to help me tomorrow. (She is a vet and although she doesn't know much about chickens, I'm sure she would do a better job than me with helping the chick) I hope the poor thing makes it through the night. It wasn't looking so good. Thank you for all of your help by the way!
