My girl has not layed in months and has a dirty bottom. Lately her feathers are falling out and the existing feathers look rough. I have included some pics. What should I do? Is she sick or have mites? None of the others in the flock have these symptoms.

It was very soft and slimy. The white dots were the consistency of lard.
Interesting... keep an eye out for anything else like that in the future, as it looks unusual.

As far as deworming, what worms are you dealing with specifically? Depending on what you have, wormer, amount and reapplication times may vary.

I’ve not seen any worms, I just thought that worming should be done regularly but if I don’t see any, then do I need to do it at all?

I would not. Overuse of wormers can start breeding resistance into them.

If you think you may need to worm but aren't sure, you can see if a local vet would do a fecal panel on some poop samples.
