[Silkie Chicken Lady]

I have 2 hens and a rooster and they get along great. Only one hen is laying age and has laid 1 egg daily since she started about a month ago. A few days ago i noticed she was acting weird ,hiding in the corners and standing sleeping all during the day. I picked her up and put her in a warm bath for about 10 minutes and gloved myself and examined her internally. I could find nothing wrong but the next day she laid an egg so soft i could not pick it up. Sincethen she has not laid an egg. She seemed to feel better and is eating but still lays around. It is VERY hot here and i guess that could be the problem. No signs of molting.. Any ideas ??

What do you feed including treats?
Do you provide oyster shell free choice?

I'd give her 1 Calcium Citrate daily for a week to see if this helps firm up the eggs. Passing a soft shelled egg can be very hard on them and some act like they don't feel well.

Do look her over for lice/mites.
How much space do you have for them? You only have the 3 birds total?
