I got my silkie roo at the beginning of the year, and today when I went to feed the flock, I found him hiding in the coop hunched over and not eating or being active. He wouldn’t come out so I had to detach some of the coop to get him out. I found these lumps on his legs and I disinfected his feet with alcohol and put some Vaseline on it, and fed him some white rice with garlic mixed in. I have no idea why he is sick all of a sudden, but he hasn’t been crowing as much lately either. I’m trying to get him to eat and drink and stuff. Any insights to why he might be sick how how to help him with be super appreciated.
Ps. It’s been quite rainy recently, does he have a cold?

How is he doing? Sorry no one responded to this thread earlier.
After one day he’s surprising back to normal. I’m still questioning myself- pretty sure sickness can’t be cured that fast. I’m relieved he’s doing on for the time being!

Can you post photos of him from today? Feet and poop too?

Check him over for lice/mites. Is his crop emptying?

What do you feed including treats?

Look inside his beak for lesions or canker.

Have you ever dewormed him?

He does not seem to have any lice/mites, not showing much of an interest in food. I have never dewormed him though.
His poop is White and watery, and smells really bad. His feet seem better compared to last time though. I don’t really know how to check him for lesions or canker. Do I just pull his beak open? Will it hurt him? Have some pictures. He just looks really sleepy all day

I just went to check on the coop and I found a yellow mouse/rat running out from the coop. Closer inspection shows that it had burrowed underneath the wooden coop floor.
