We've all had a bad cold-like thing this past week with aches and a fever. I guess it's the flu. DH rides the train into DC to work and brings home more germs than the kids.

All of us sick people can be sick together, lol. Today I have the horrible cough, I am hoping I will be better by this weekend, I have alot to do. I am going to take today off of work, I need a day of sleep but I had to get on BYC, lol. The addiction is too strong.

Now I am going to sleep.

Guafenesin (Mucinex) with lots of liquids -- the only thing I've found that will keep a cold from progressing.

I still have the cold, but for far fewer days, and it behaves throughout as in the very early stages.

I also take 2000 mgs Vit C every six hours.

Cold medicines will just keep you sicker much longer.
